Attaching your ear defenders directly to your helmets is an easy way to increase comfort. The ARC adapters replace the standard headband and give you the option to easily lift the cups without having to remove your helmet, this is especially nice in prolonged wear as ear defenders tend to get rather sweaty.

Installation is very easy, but be warned: this will require the destruction of the original leather headband cover!

Cut open the leather cover and remove it from the headband and wiring.
Snap the cups off from the headbands attachment points .
Snap on the ARC adapters.
Attach the ARC adapters to your helmet rails.
The connecting wiring should be placed somewhere where it won´t cause snagging, most commonly this is somewhere between the helmet shell and pads or liner. This is very much dependent on the type of helmet used, how to run the wiring will become clear once you get down to business.
